About This Course
This course earns 1 synagogue engagement credit
This practicum gives you the opportunity to receive academic credit for your work as a Jewish educator while enrolled at PRS.
To earn 1 synagogue engagement credit, you will develop and teach twelve adult Jewish education classes. These may be offered as a multi-session series or as twelve individual classes.
Requirements
To receive credit, complete all of the following:
1. Develop and teach twelve classes while enrolled at PRS
The classes must be taught during your time as a PRS student. Credit cannot be awarded for classes taught before you enrolled at PRS.
2. Fill out the brit limmud
Ask your supervising rabbi or other community leader to fill out the brit limmud and sign it.
3. Gather your lesson plans and materials into one document
Submit lesson plans and any supporting materials for all twelve classes. Please combine these into a single PDF or Word document.
Submitting Your Work

The single document containing all lesson plans and supporting materials
The completed and signed Education Facilitation Brit Limmud
