December 14, 2022

About This Course

Welcome to the advanced Hebrew course “Hebrew Through Songs”

While each lesson will be unique there will be some common expectations throughout all the lessons. Prior to each lesson, you will be expected to prepare the following:

  1. First, listen to the song without looking at the words.
  2. Next, listen again while reading the words.
  3. You will have several questions to answer about the song. You will choose which question and answer to send to me prior to the lesson, however, we will be addressing all the questions in the lesson.
  4. Grammar will include verbs, Nouns, Adjectives, and Roots.
  5. The lyrics to the song will be attached with the questions and sent to you the Friday prior to the lesson.
  6. To listen to the songs they can be found on Shironet and YouTube.

This course is live and is offered in the Zoom classroom on Tuesdays at 8:00 pm Eastern.

Hadassah is the best teacher

Hadassah truly brings so much more out of you than you thought you had. She is encouraging and I loved analyzing songs with her. She is also incredibly knowledgeable in all things Judaic.
