About This Course
Some of the Torah’s greatest stories through the eyes of classic commentators. We will study several iconic stories and commentaries from these two books. Each class will also focus on our modern interpretation and application of the wisdom expressed in the stories. Towards the end of class we will all focus on ways to teach some of the material we have learned.
Genesis and Exodus of JPS Commentator’s Bible required.
Students will show comprehension of the material by posting the answers to the attached writing prompts in #PRS as well as posting the writing prompts in each unit’s quiz. Both sending the answers to Rabbi Noam and posting to the unit quiz are required to move onto the next unit. You will receive one credit for this course.
