These courses are a great way to see if rabbinical school is right for you. However, students will not receive educational credit at PRS

No. Taking classes through the Community Beit Midrash is similar to auditing courses at a university. You get the full learning experience, but will not earn credit towards smicha if you enroll as a PRS student in the future. If you’ve audited courses through the Beit Midrash and would like credit towards smicha you’ll need to take the course again.
