Interested in becoming a rabbinical student, but feel you lack the formal knowledge and skills you need to take that final step? There are several options you can take today along your own persona derekh (path) of Torah.
Darshan Yeshiva
Our sister website Darshan Yeshiva provides lay leader training, with in depth learning around the parshah hashavuah, holidays, lifecycle and more. This combined with volunteering or employment at a synagogue can help bridge those gaps in your Jewish knowledge and skills.
eHebrew Teacher
eHebrew Teacher has been a great resource to our students. Going through the first two levels of Biblical and Modern Hebrew will give you a real advantage in rabbinical training.
Community Bet Midrash
Finally, consider joining our Community Bet Midrash. While you will not have access to the core, required courses, you are able to take non-credit versions of many of our rabbinical student electives. This is a great way to see if rabbinical school is right for you!
Still Unsure? Fill out this form below for more information on other ways you can prepare to become part of Pluralistic Rabbinical Seminary.
