Purpose
The Pluralistic Rabbinical Seminary Alumni Association (“The Alumni Association” or “Alumni Association”) is the global home for independent Jewish leaders to learn and build their vocational lives together. This Association exists to support its members professionally, spiritually, and communally, while upholding standards of ethical conduct.
What We Provide
The Alumni Association offers a connection to one’s calling, to each other, and to the broader Jewish community. It achieves this through:
- Upholding Professional Standards: Developing and maintaining ethical guidelines that provide clarity and accountability.
- Providing Resources and Opportunities: Offering mentorship, educational programs, professional development, and spiritual guidance.
- Facilitating Learning Opportunities: Creating spaces for collaborative learning through webinars, study groups, and forums.
- Connecting Jewish Leaders: Bridging alumni with the global Jewish leadership space for networking and growth.
Membership
Membership in the Alumni Association is open to any Pluralistic Rabbinical Seminary alum who is in good standing as defined by The Statement of Rabbis In Good Standing.
- Membership is free for life.
- Members pay only for specific services and opportunities they choose to engage with.
- In the future, members will be welcome to donate to the Alumni Association fund to help defer the costs of member services and opportunities.
Communication
- All communication, news, opportunities, and updates are provided to members via Slack on an ongoing basis.
- The Slack platform serves as the primary hub for discussion, announcements, and collaborative opportunities.
